We are delighted to announce that just 3 years after the passage of the Good Food Nation (Scotland) Act, the Proposed National Good Food Nation Plan has been published and laid before the Scottish Parliament.

This version of the plan updates the previous draft and incorporates the various comments received during the public consultation that ran last year. The Scottish Parliament will scrutinise it after the summer recess, with at least two different committees (Health, Social Care and Sport & Local Government, Housing and Planning) calling for written evidence (closing date: 12th of August 2025).
We will be keeping a close eye on these developments, and look forward to reading the various recommendations made to the Parliament.
