The intention is to provide a high-level overview of the legislative requirements of the Good Food Nation Act. The Scottish Government have published a more detailed guide on which this presentation has been based. Having this guide to hand while going through the presentation will help provide some more detailed information to support the high-level overview provided in the presentation.
The aim is to increase awareness of the legislative duties for local authorities and territorial health boards as set out in the Good Food Nation Act. This is intended as a first step in the process of understanding the detail of what is required to develop a Good Food Nation Plan.
